Genesis Software Corp. Patch for Pocket PC 2003
Our Pocket PC Applications are written using Microsoft's eVB (embedded Visual Basic) compiler As of Windows CE for Pocket PC 2003 Microsoft no longer supports eVB applications by default. There is a run-time library that can be downloaded and installed on the Pocket PC 2003 device so that our pocket PC applications will run. Perform the following steps to install this run-time library to your pocket PC 2003 device.
1. Download the eVB Runtime file directly to your desktop using Internet Explorer. (link is below) 2. Using the ActiveSync "Explore" feature, you can then download the CAB file to your Pocket PC 2003 device. 3. Once you have downloaded the file to the device, you can use "File Explorer" on your Pocket PC to browse to the file. 4. Tap on the file. It will self install.
The Size of the File that is downloaded is 2.9 MB
To avoid the download time, if you have purchased our products on CD this Patch File is also on the CD you received.
